Support for Caregivers

Caregivers need help too. Do not be afraid to ask for help, and take time to care for yourself.

RDVIC advocates are available to assist caregivers with information and support as well as provide referrals to agencies that can help you better cope with the stress and demands of caregiving.

Signs of caregiver stress:

  • difficulty getting organized
  • crying for no reason
  • feeling short-tempered
  • feeling that everyday tasks are getting harder to accomplish
  • feeling constantly pressured for time
  • feeling that there is no time for self
